Each project can have one or more photos and admin area allows for adding captions to each picture which greatly improve search engine optimization. Several of the pages select a project at random and show a photo and link to more information.

This small web site was originally built in 2002 and then updated in 2008 with a new look and color scheme. Owner did not choose to have a content management system but the site still uses a database to store and organize vehicle information and photos.

This small site has a complete content management system (CMS) for the site owner to add and edit pictures and text at her convenience. She can also link to other sites to increase search engine ranking and the site uses paypal to accept donations online via credit card.

Bub's Barn

This small site has a content management system that allows the owner to manage links and text on their product pages. The site uses our standard page include system to make for quick additions and changes to the site.

Newton Academy Restoration

This small site has a number of big features... the committee can post their own meeting minutes, manage their own pictures and page content, and add and edit links to other resources. Header, footer and navigation is 'included' on each page rather than being hard coded on each page so the entire site can be updated very quickly by changing information in just one place, not on each individual page.

CareerWise

The site is split into 3 areas, each with its own home page and individual menus. The Services for Purchase are managed through the Administrative area of the site and can be grouped by categories. Potential clients can signup and pay for services from the web site. * October 2006 Customer is no longer offering these services.

Platinum Invests Group

This small site uses standard "include" features such as having just one file that contains header graphics and navigation instead of having that same information hard coded on every page of the site. This makes it easy to add or remove site pages by changing just one file instead of all of them. The site also allows clients and potential clients to register for access to the backend of the site. Authorized users can upload and download files and receive secure information from the company. A company administrator manages files, users and file access on a per user basis. * August 2006, company undergoing transition, requested to take site pages offline.

This small site provides information about the business and owner. Header and footer files are included on each page (meaning that the information is not hard coded on each page but is displayed from one central set of files) making it very easy to add or remove pages as necessary.

Last Green Place Fine Art Gallery

This small site has an administrative area for the owner to manage events and links. The events display into a calendar like format on the Events page. The header, navigation and footer files are included on each page rather than having the same info reside on each individual page (making it easy to add and remove links, change colors and more. * June 2007 the customer did not wish to renew the web site hosting.

Taste of India Restaurant

This site is pretty straight-forward; the owner just wanted to list his menu and a little information on the web. One of the clever things that the site has is dynamic menu navigation. This is done by having one file that holds the navigation links which is then pulled in (included) in every page of the site using PHP code. This allows the code to know what page it is currently displaying and to show additional menu choices depending on the page. If you visit the site click one of the menu options in the left nav area... you'll see sub menus appear for each menu item. * December 2005: The site was disabled due to non payment.

Bristol Woodworks

This small site is filled with examples of the owners work. The header, navigation and footer elements of the site are one set of files that are pulled in and "included" on every page of the site. This makes site updates, additions and deletions much easier than having to change every page manually. The site uses an online form to allow people to contact David by email without having his email address listed on the site where it can be picked up by spammers. This site was donated to a silent auction event to raise money for the community. Bristol Woodworks owner, David King, was high bidder.

Vermont Vegetarian Society

Another small site that was donated to this non profit group. Features information about the group, about being vegetarian and has many resources on where people can turn to learn more. Navigation and header elements are pulled in and "included" on every page making the site easy to update. Site will eventually feature searchable recipes that are stored in a database for easy retrieval and updates.

Fashion First

Information about custom wedding gown designer (PHP).

A basic web site to showcase examples of her dresses and career wear. The only PHP code used is to include the header and navigation files to make site updates quick and easy. The site owner requested very light colors so that the photos would really stand out.

This site has only one page that utilizes a database - the links page. The site owner has ability to add, edit or delete links via a small Administrative Control Panel. The rest of the site consists of HTML pages of information about the business, services offered and how to contact the owner to obtain services.

Memory Saver Video

The header, footer and navigation elements are included on each page rather than being hard coded so that future site updates and additions will be quick and easy. All pictures are shown small so the pages load more quickly but are clickable so you can enlarge the view. Large images are shown on an "image viewer" page which keeps you within the site and has a Back link to keep the site visitor from getting lost with no way back to the main page. * May 2007, owner purchased B&B and is no longer offering videography services.

All photos and information (such as comments and photo category) are stored in a database and displayed on the proper category page when called. Random Testimonials and selected photographs are displayed on the home page. The Admin Control Panel allows the owner to update photo information, change the status of a photo (active or inactive) and add or modify testimonials. Originally created in January of 2001, we recently revamped this site to give the pages a small facelift and the owner more control over her content.
