(PHP, JavaScript, MySQL) Left navigation, header and footer files are included on each page (rather than being hardcoded) for easy site updates and additions. All photos and information (such as comments and photo category) are stored in a database and displayed on the proper category page when called. Random Testimonials and selected photographs are displayed on the home page. The Admin Control Panel allows the owner to update photo information, change the status of a photo (active or inactive) and add or modify testimonials. Originally created in January of 2001, we recently revamped this site to give the pages a small facelift and the owner more control over her content.

The content and photos were sent in a PDF file and the site was created from that information. It uses a standard header, footer and navigation file set to make additions to the site easy to manage.

This small site has a number of big features... the committee can post their own meeting minutes, manage their own pictures and page content, and add and edit links to other resources. Header, footer and navigation is 'included' on each page rather than being hard coded on each page so the entire site can be updated very quickly by changing information in just one place, not on each individual page.

Prelude Restoration Automotive restoration progress and pictures (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL). Displays list of repairs by date which open to display full details and a picture. Most recent entry shows on home page. Browser can see all repairs on one page or preview each day's report in a separate window using Previous and Next buttons. Administrative Control Panel allow for easy addition of repair progress and selecing pictures for upload. Site selects the most recent repair date and displays a message at the bottom of each page "Site last updated on..." and inserts the most recent repair date.

The header, navigation and footer elements of the site are one set of files that are pulled in and "included" on every page of the site. This makes site updates, additions and deletions much easier than having to change every page manually. The site uses an online form to allow people to contact David by email without having his email address listed on the site where it can be picked up by spammers. This site was donated to a silent auction event to raise money for the community. Bristol Woodworks owner, David King, was high bidder.

The Zany Lady Customized PayPal system (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL). The order form uses JavaScript to submit a form of products ordered to the custom PHP built shopping cart. A discount is applied for orders of 13 or more items. Checkout is handled by sending a string of items ordered and the qty to PayPal who collects the customer info and credit card payment securely.
